A sentence<\/strong> must have:
\ud83d\udc49 Subject<\/strong> (Who\/What the sentence is about) \ud83d\udc64
\ud83d\udc49 Predicate<\/strong> (What is happening \/ being said about the subject) \ud83d\udde3\ufe0f
\ud83d\udc49 Complete Thought<\/strong> (It makes sense on its own) \ud83d\udca1<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example:

\u274c What is a Sentence Fragment?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A fragment<\/strong> is an incomplete part of a sentence<\/strong>. It is missing<\/strong> either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. A subject<\/strong> \ud83d\udc64<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. A predicate<\/strong> \ud83d\udde3\ufe0f<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Or a complete thought<\/strong> \ud83d\udcad<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
